The Lavender plant is originally from the Mediterranean . It has been used for thousands of years. It has always been popular to both those needing help from it and those who simply love the fragrance of the flower, dried or fresh.

Apart from the magnificently nostalgic scent of this plant, the essential oil extracted from it has wonderful aromatherapic properties.

It can be used for healing burns,, headaches, insomnia, nervous tension, bacterial or fungicidal conditions such as athletes foot or ringworm, rheumatism and arthritis.

It is a natural antibiotic,antidepressant, sedative and detoxifier .It stimulates the cells of a wound to regenerate more quickly. It is almost miraculous!

A gardener would do well to note that the best altitude for this plant is 700 -1400 meters, and the best-loved variety is the lavendula angustiflora or lavendula vera(true lavender)

It is also effective as an insect repellent.

The Replen’sh Bath oil contains purest lavender oil and extra virgin coldpressed olive oil as its carrier.It is extremely effective in causing a balance of the emotions, removing mental stress, depression or insomnia.(bath at night)

Jojoba oil

Jojoba oil, pronounced ho-HO-ba, is included in the Replen’sh face cream, body scrub, body butter and facial massage oil. When applied as a facial massage oil, (six drops in the palm of one hand should be sufficient) one needs to rub the oil into the face with gentle circular pressure. Going to sleep with a clean face dressed only in this massage oil is wonderful for restoring elasticity in the skin.
The Jojoba tree is grown and harvested in Arizona, California and Mexico. It is actually a wax ester, which is extracted from the seeds of the jojoba tree. The ester is the most similar to human skin oil (sebum). It can therefore be absorbed easily into the skin and can keep a good skin balance… not too oily. It has no side-effects other than making the face too shiny if too much neat jojoba oil is applied. It provides all day moisturisation.

South African Climate: it’s extreme in most areas

My daughter, who now lives in the Karoo, Northern Cape, with her husband and 4 year-old daughter, swears by the Replen’sh range. She uses most of the items: facial day/night cream, facial massage oil, bath oil, body butter (good for 24 hours) ,body scrub and air and linen freshener. Her appraisal is that the range is natural, not harsh, is easily absorbed, does not react with her sensitive, combination skin, and is used and loved by her husband and little girl too.

She mentioned that the lavender oil in the Replen’sh bath oil helps to calm the very energetic little one in readiness for bedtime. The air and linen spray , applied liberally onto blankets, curtains, and upholstery, also keeps her home smelling fresh, reducing pet odours(e.g. wet dog!)

Essential oils are exactly that… they ARE essential!

For peace of mind and promotion of calm in yourself, your home,and an improved sleep pattern, it is important to let go of certain responsibilities in the work place. Replen’sh face cream
I started using Replen’sh products after receiving their moisturiser as a gift. Being perimenopausal, I struggled with a dry skin.

Other products that I tried worked for a little while, but towards late afternoon I found my skin to be dry again. Replen’sh Face cream solved my problem.

Since using it, my skin has become finer and softer and the moisture balance has been restored.

Replen’sh products were a great discovery for me as I have a VERY dry skin and am prone to eczema. I found that I could use the face cream and body butter in place of cortisone based creams and that I got similar relief without the side-effects.
